BIOS Clinical Tutors Course (Spring 2024)

Friday 10^th May 2024 9.00am – 1pm

The course will cover;

• the expectations of students at each stage in the course,
• how to adapt your teaching to suit your learners,
• how to adapt your work environment to maximise learning,
• balancing clinical pressures whilst providing a productive learning experience,
• giving constructive feedback
• writing assessments.

Course fee includes refreshments on both days, and lunch on Day 1. Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Attendance at both days is mandatory to complete the course.

Car Parking at the Thackray:

The entrance to the car park is off Beckett Street. The charge for parking for delegates is £5 per car per day. The usual fee is £1.25 per hour, so to claim this discounted rate you need to get a pay and display ticket for £5, and then go reception and get an extension slip which will cover the rest of the day – there are details on the pay and display machines.
