BIOS Clinical Tutors’ Course – (Autumn 1)

This course will be delivered face to face on both days.  Some work will need to be carried out independently prior to the course, and between the sessions.

The course will cover;

• the expectations of students at each stage in the course,
• how to adapt your teaching to suit your learners,
• how to adapt your work environment to maximise learning,
• balancing clinical pressures whilst providing a productive learning experience,
• giving constructive feedback
• writing assessments.

Attendance at both sessions is mandatory. It is a requirement of the course that you join from a device with a camera and microphone. Cameras must be kept switched on at all times. Delegates attending without a camera will be asked to leave the course and rebook for a different date.

***There will be some work to be carried out between the sessions, so please ensure that you will have sufficient time to do this. We estimate this work could take around 2 hours***.
