BIOS Medical Retina Virtual Bite-Size CAG Day 2021

This year the BIOS Medical Retina CAG Day will be held as a series of virtual ‘bite-sized’ sessions. This will allow for presentations to be punchy and informative, discussing key topics and promoting interactive learning throughout. Experienced speakers have agreed to lead on each key topic, and we anticipate case presentations, live Q&A, multiple-choice polls, shared working, information surveys, etc. Each session will have slightly different approaches, but will commence with key speaker introductions, a set agenda for the session, time for discussion/questions, followed by a session summary and close. BIOS Stroke and Neuro Rehab CAG Study Session

*The Stroke and Neuro Rehab CAG are holding a study day for case based discussions, titled: “What happens when orthoptic input is delayed?” The CAG would like to invite orthoptists to share a ~5min case presentation. Cases will present instances where a patient has been misdiagnosed, had care delayed or other events due to a delay in orthoptic input to their care. The aim for the session will be to discuss the cases, and to subsequently publish these case studies in a peer reviewed journal.
