Clinical tutors forum: “Tackling unconscious bias on placement”
Online forum for Orthoptic clinical tutors. Aim is to provide opportunity to discuss topics relevant to the provision of clinical placements for undergraduate and postgraduate orthoptic students. This forum will focus on: What is unconscious bias? How students may encounter this on placement and how tutors can better support. This time we welcome Marian Owoniyi (BIOS Equality, Diversity & Inclusion lead) who will be out special guest speaker. BIOS Clinical Tutors Course (Spring 2024)
Thursday 9th May 2024 9.15am – 5pm Friday 10th May 2024 9.00am – 1pm Are you keen to develop your clinic teaching skills? There are limited places available for the BIOS clinical tutor course. The course fulfils the requirements for Lead Clinical Tutor.
