BIOS Scottish Clinical Tutors’ Course

If you work in Scotland and are keen to develop your clinic teaching skills then this is the course for you!

There are limited places available for orthoptists working in Scotland to attend the BIOS clinical tutor course. The course fulfils the requirements for Lead Clinical Tutor.

This course will be delivered face to face with some reading to be carried out independently prior to the course.

The course will cover;

• the expectations of students at each stage in the course,
• how to adapt your teaching to suit your learners,
• how to adapt your work environment to maximise learning,
• balancing clinical pressures whilst providing a productive learning experience,
• giving constructive feedback
• writing assessments.

Attendance at both days is mandatory.
