BIOS Clinical Tutors Course (Spring 2024)
Thursday 9th May 2024 9.15am – 5pm Friday 10th May 2024 9.00am – 1pm Are you keen to develop your clinic teaching skills? There are limited places available for the BIOS clinical tutor course. The course fulfils the requirements for Lead Clinical Tutor. The course will cover; the expectations of students at each stage in the course, how to adapt your teaching to suit your learners, how to adapt your work environment to maximise learning, balancing clinical pressures whilst providing a productive learning experience, giving constructive feedback writing assessments. BIOS Annual Conference & AGM – Thursday 11th & Friday 12th July 2024
The BIOS conference, to be held at the Pendulum Hotel in Manchester on the 11th and 12th July 2024, promises to be a fantastic couple of days in this exciting and vibrant city. The conference will cover a range of topics, including, but not limited to, core Orthoptics, research, support staff, stroke, and career development. On both days there will be multiple opportunities to interact with fellow orthoptists, through case discussion presentations, panel discussions and social activities, giving delegates the opportunity to share knowledge, learning and experience.
