1040 - 1115 Role of Orthoptic Assistant - Introduction from Sue Yarde, discussion from the Assistant’s perspective…Kate Vickery/Hannah Horton/Karen Stevens + Open Forum

What will the future hold for this role?

1115 - 1200 Nurse Practitioner - Development of the role/working in Shared Care Glaucoma and Casualty clinics.

1200 – 1300 Workshop session - led by the Orthoptists from MPH; Developing extended scope practice/problems and solutions; Refraction, JIA, Stroke and Low Vision.

1300 – 1400 LUNCH

1400 – 1500 Feedback from IOA Conference, Toronto - Rowena McNamara, Chloe Lafferty and Lesley-Anne Baxter will summarise lectures and discussion forums from the IOC.

1500 - 1530 Tea/Coffee

1530 – 1630 Business Meeting

1630 Session ends
